We believe this begins in infancy..
To develop the proper teacher-child attachment necessary to establish a positive learning relationship, you first must build trust with the child. Teachers need to be responsive and intentional in their approach to early care education. Once trust is established and a child feels safe they can begin to explore and share openly and cooperatively. The teacher can now guide behavior and facilitate learning in an environment that supports following the interest of the child with a Lived Curriculum. As educators and caregivers, it is important to remember that Everything Begins and Ends with the Child.
